Viral Webcaster to Provide Web Conferencing on Facebook!

Posted on December 16th, 2011 by Rick

While it’s a bit early to know exactly how this will flesh out, it appears that a new Facebook application known as Viral Webcaster will provide some combination of webinar services directly tied into Facebook. Viral Webcaster is still in beta, but I’ve gotten a taste of it’s capability.   And, from what I have seen, this is extremely exciting. Viral Webcaster is designed allow users to broadcast live webinars or recorded videos on Facebook!!!

Here is a screenshot of from a webconference that I attended:

Webinars on Facebook

The web conferencing biggies haven’t tried to tackle this, but an emerging web conferencing company… GVO (Global Virtual Opportunities) has combined with Tissa Godavitarne (the “non-Guru” of affiliate marketing) on a new joint venture that could turn the web conferencing industry upside down.  Why? Because this is the first web conferencing service that combines the viral sharing capability of Facebook with web conferencing!  And, from I’ve seen the product is at such a low price point that larger, more established companies like Go to Meeting and Webex would find it hard to compete.

In my humble opinion, I would compare this partnership to  something akin to how Go Daddy and Netflix established their markets.  Both companies followed the same basic business model… produce a superior product and price it under $10/per month.  In other words, make it affordable to virtually everyone.  A major difference between this Viral Webcaster & GVO product  and Go Daddy and Netflix is in their marketing strategy.   Viral Webcaster is marketed solely through network marketing marketing as a direct sales product.

This is why I am telling my readers about it!  You won’t see expensive Super Bowl or other commercials on this product.  This will only be offered by network and Internet marketers!

To witness an actual demonstration, just click here on …  >>>Viral Webaster

Talk Fusion: What’s the True Value?

Posted on October 17th, 2011 by Rick

This is video prepared by my good friend, Steve Mitchell!  Steve has captured the true value of  Talk Fusion compared to other similar services.  He did an awesome job!  I saw huge value in this video and asked Steve for permission to use it!  Being a top-notch team player and leader that he is, he graciously provided me permission.  It’s an awesome, short video that truly captures the capability of Talk Fusion compared to other services.  I could not have done as great a job.

Americans Burying Heads in Sand?

Posted on October 15th, 2011 by Rick

I read an article in the Money Section of USA Today yesterday (13 October 2011) that startled me.  The article, titled “Debtors burying heads in sand” had an even more alarming subtitle: “More people in trouble but fewer seek help.”  Help? How did debtors get into financial problems in the first place?  And, who are they going to seek help from?

The article begins by making the point that even as more Americans are piling on debt fewer are seeking counseling or other kinds of relief to try to put their financial life back in order.  Consumers accumulated an additional $18.4 billion in credit card debt in the second quarter (2011) according to a new study from CardHub.com.  That’s up 66 percent from the same quarter in 2010 and up 368 percent from years ago!  I must admit, those figures are staggering.

So, who should these people seek help from?  The author points to the following sources: 1.) the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, 2.) the Association of Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies, and 3.) the American Bankruptcy Institute.  Give me a break already.

What is happening to us folks?  I mean really!  Don’t we realize that the only one we can rely on to pull ourselves out of this situation is ourselves?  Only we have full control over our lives.  Men and women have given their lives so that we have this freedom.  Are Americans giving up on themselves?
Let’s pull our heads out of the sand and start doing something about it.  There are hundreds of opportunities out there that enable, in fact empower us to move forward and seek our independent financial security.  It does not happen overnight.   It takes a little time, a little investment and a little help.  But, it’s out there; you just need to find it and take action.

I’m essentially talking about finding a little part-time job through network marketing.  I listened to a CD while driving yesterday by Jim Rohn.  On this CD, Mr. Rohn tells the story of how he first got started in network marketing.  His goal was to earn 50 percent of his income from his part-time job while he maintained his full-time job.  Once he hit that goal, he established another; to earn as much in his part-time job as he did in his full-time job.  I think his next goal was to double his income.  Once he did that, he still continued to work his job.  Why?  He didn’t want to lose his story!  He just kept adding to it.

So, what’s your story?  Are still relying on factors you cannot control to impact your life for better or for worse?  Things like the economy, the political environment, your employer’s discretion to lay you off or promote you, or maybe even the stock market.  Or, are you ready to take control of your financial life?  It’s all up to you!

A Much Needed Post to Explain “What the Hell is Going on out There!”

The San Francisco 49ers' Super Bowl XXIX troph...

As Vince Lombardi once cried, “What the hell is going on out there?” I thought it might be a good time to post some thoughts on the direction of my blog!

How to Build an Internet Home Business was originally started as a review site for affiliate programs, but my bottom line goal was to pass on valuable information to anyone who just wanted to establish a home business presence on the Internet.  And, I wanted to interact with my readers… not to sell, but to assist; to build relationships and to work together.  I think that Vince’s words amplify these thoughts.

I finally realized that my blog wasn’t doing what I originally hoped.  I wasn’t building a team.  I was writing my story and experiences!  I wasn’t working with people.  I was working for them.  That is not team building!  Thanks Vince!

I’ve noticed a dominant trend recently!  And, while I can’t make any firm conclusions about it, I do have some thoughts.  I have a lot of people registering as members.  I’ll get as many as 5-6 per day.  This tells me that there is something of value I offer here, but I’m not exactly sure what registered members are looking for.  I really need to know this.  I want to engage with my readers!

I’ve noticed a secondary trend as well.  Most of my new members seem to be associated with some type of very legitimate online small businesses. They… or you, are looking for something.

I’ll take a wild educated guess and say you are looking for success… in whatever it is you do!  That’s fairly safe.  Hey, I want to help but I need to know how I can help.  As I try to tell my new members, and I do not get to everybody on an individual basis; consider me a resource that you can use anytime!  Ask questions!

And, please offer your experiences, your problems and your solutions.  If we work together,  we can certainly better achieve our individual goals.  But, we need to work as a team.  I’m a firm believer in that.  Don’t be bashfull! Post in the comments!  Let’s engage to the benefit of all of us!  Let’s get Vince off our backs!

Network Marketing as an Internet Home Business

Posted on October 1st, 2011 by Rick

Robert Kiyosaki, author and coachPublic support of network marketing or direct selling has significantly improved the reputation of network marketing over the past few years; and more and more families are using network marketing opportunities as their Internet home business.  Robert Kiyosaki, renowned author, businessman, investor, motivational speaker and self-help coach has reinforced the validity of network marketing.

Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow QuadrantJust to set the framework, Robert Kiyosaki developed his Cash Flow Quadrant.  The left portion of the quadrant (E & S) represents a certain mentality or focus.  The focus here is on getting a good job or profession or even starting a small business with a salary and benefits the primary goals.  In my opinion, the key characteristic he brings out is that in these two quadrants an individual is just that; an individual.  Essentially, they are going solo in life!

The idea is change that mentality and move to the right portion of the quadrant (B I).  It is in these two quadrants that the individual achieves financial freedom.  This is where you can leverage the power of passive income with a network of people worldwide working for you.

And, network marketing is the vehicle that gets you this financial freedom. Here a great, short video where Robert goes into a little more detail:

Talk Fusion: Just a Taste for the Support Structure I’ve Experienced with this Internet Home Business!!

Posted on September 4th, 2011 by Rick

Talk Fusion Video EmailI am just finding this experience really, really special and I wanted to share it with my readers.  I have never seen a support structure as professional as Talk Fusion’s.  I believe this is essential to anyone who wants to build an Internet home business. You know, anyone who happens to just land on this post at the right time in their lives is in for a very special opportunity.  Should you choose to pursue the Talk Fusion business, you sure won’t have to make some of the expensive mistakes I’ve made in establishing my Internet home business.  This may be the very last business I ever invest in!  Let me explain why.

The support structure is simply phenomenal!  I joined Talk Fusion two weeks ago.  The very first thing my sponsor did was introduce me to his upline and someone in his downline that he was assigning me to.  They have a “shadowing” system that I never experienced before.  I’ve been in other MLM’s before, but I never participated in system like this.

The fundamental of this “shadowing system” involves 3-way phone calls.  My sponsor got me in touch with one his  upline team.  His name is Bryan.  Bryan has been in Talk Fusion for four years.  Bryan just told me his story about how he became involved.  My sponsor… oh, his name is Kary, also set up a 3-way conversation with a downline member who I would be assigned to.  Her name is Faith!

There are times when a 3-way may not be practical using the US phone or cell system.  In those cases, we move over to Skype to save on expenses.  Talk Fusion is in over 110 countries, so there will be lots of occasions when we need to take the conversation over to Skype.  I just love to hear the success stories of  Talk Fusion leaders in Hungary or Russia or anywhere else in the world.  That make my experience even more fun!  And, it’s a whole lot easier to work when you are having fun.

But, let me give you some idea of how this translates into success.  Remember, I’ve only been in this business for two weeks.  Here I am trying to learn the back office and products and putting together some video emails… all the while knowing that the great folks in my upline are attending Talk Fusion’s Vision Conference in Tampa, Florida.  So, while I’m sitting up here in Maryland overcoming earthquakes and battling the damage left by the hurricane Irene, I am also waiting for my upline team to return.  Little did I know that the business was already producing results for me.

Check this out!

Talk Fusion Upline Support

I’m almost embarrassed to admit this!  While I’m sitting at home contemplating who and when I’m going to contact about this opportunity, my upline is already placing great people in my 2X2 matrix.

You might actually say that I just started concentrating on building this business on Friday!  Stay tuned for much more…  And, please don’t just join under me.  Yes, I have posted a couple of banners with my links.  Hey, I like the pictures.  Post in the comments section or send an e-mail to rick@ricksamara.com if you are interested in learning more.  This is a real business with real people.  If you are serious about a true internet home business, let’s do this on the personal level and have some fun!

Talk Fusion: A Stand Alone Internet Home Business

Posted on August 17th, 2011 by Rick

Custom Templates at Talk FusionIf you are not into building websites or splash pages and do not want to bother learning Search Engine Optimization, this may be a great Internet Home Business for you! In my opinion, this is a great stand alone Internet home business!

The business is called Talk Fusion. So far, I’ve spent about four days evaluating it.  I like what I see.  The capabilities of the platform are remarkable.  The video conferencing feature allows up to 15 live streams at a time.  I saw it with my own eyes. I was simply amazed!  Yet, it was still a bit hard to believe.  I know a little about bandwidth; and, streaming takes a lot of bandwidth.  I have never seen anything like this.

I’ve reviewed and participated in conferences with other video conferencing platforms. I’ve been a firm believer in GVO Conference. I believe it offers the best price point for value offered.  Yet, there are some professional attributes that I feel lacking.  With that said, it’s a great value for what it offers!

I’m a bit turned off with some of  the larger and better known companies like Webex and GotoMeeting.  While they have attractive free or low cost offers, they quickly pile on expenses once they have your attention.  In my opinion, and I’ll continue to test, Talk Fusion appears to be less pretentious service and offers far greater value for your money.  And, they offer the best solution for folks that want to build in Internet home business! Particularly when you throw in video email.  Video email offers a fantastic opportunity to promote your internet home business!

In fact, I liked it so much, I joined.  I’m a new business member.  I can market it as a high demand video marketing suite and sell it to others.  Plus, I will use these tools for my own marketing needs.  Let me explain a little on why I think so much of this stand alone Internet home business.  First of all, I firmly believe that anyone can use it, but also sell it.  That is important.  A platform like this should be so easy to use that even a novice can step in and start earning money.

Secondly, it has to have a proven track record of earnings.  I needed someone to tell my how they are making money and how long it took them to do it. I wanted to interview several people in the business.  I wanted to hear their story and personal evaluation of the business.  This proved to be easier than expected.  No sooner did I specify an interest, I received phone calls from three different people.  No one tried to sell me on this Internet home business.  They simply thanked me for my interest, and asked me some basic things about my business.  Then, they offered their stories on how and why they got started and how they currently grow their business.  They also let me know that they were there to help me if I decided to join.  They are very good at relationship marketing.

Another question I asked is this; can I and my readers duplicate the success of someone else?  In other words, do you have a system in place that already works and do you have written procedures that someone can follow?  Hey, I don’t believe you should  ’recreate the wheel.’  I would much rather a wheel already be  in place.  But, I do like to build upon it to meet my particular needs.  I was happily surprised that they do!

Plus, they have a very active support group on Facebook.  This is where people share experiences and ideas.  There are over 700 active members in this group.  That sends a positive signal to me that there are a lot of people making money and really enjoying their venture in this Internet home business opportunity.

Finally, I like to check out the back office.  This is where a home based business builder will get a feel for the professionalism and maturity of the business and for their support platform; or the lack of professionalism if applicable. The back office exceeded my expectations.  And, the support materials are state-of-the-art.  I’m not going to write much on the products at this time.

Rather, I’ve chosen to provide an example.  Just below is a video e-mail that took me all of 5 minutes to build.  All I had to do was choose a template (there are a ton of them).  In fact, you’ll see a few of the available templates in this video. The video itself is just one of many the company provided professional videos.  This is huge value, based on my experiences.  I also had the opportunity to import video, either from a file or a webcam, or create one using my web camera.  It’s an amazing platform!  And, that’s just one of eight features that are included.

But, let me provide some cautionary thoughts!  I’m not big on hype!  If someone tells me that I can make $3,000 – $5,000 a month by simply staying in my PJ’s 24-hours a day, they are going to instantly raise those little hairs on the back of neck and lose my attention.  There is no such “animal” on this great earth.  I’ll be writing more on their amazing  soft sales and support strategy.  But, for now, just watch this video with my words of caution in mind!

Internet Home Business: Tough Times Ahead, but Here is Great Story!

It’s becoming a lot more challenging.  If you are building an Internet Home Business, and have built your website or preferably blog, you probably understand how difficult it is to drive traffic to your website.  That is exactly why you need to know some basics about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Without this basic knowledge,  I dare say you will not be successful with your Internet home business!

Don’t worry about becoming an expert!  All you really need to know is some basic principles; and keep up with the latest updates on how this stuff effects the basic principles of SEO and you…  your Internet home business!  My job is to make this as simple as possible for you!  Obviously,  you are going to have questions.  Just post them in the comments section at the end of this post!  That’s what blogging is all about.  A blog is an interactive  content management system that allows and encourages interaction… people sharing ideas and learning from one another.  If you listen, I can coach!  I know this stuff and I keep up with all the latest developments.

Let me tell you a little story.  It’s real and it just happened today.  I reviewed a few content management systems today for a friend who happens to be a major personality in the classic rock industry.  By content management systems, I mean websites and Facebook fan pages.  He uses WordPress themes for his blogs/websites and has some awesome fan pages with lots of members.  He kicks out content!  And, that is key!  He really knows the Internet marketing business and he uses it to grow his business.

His marketing concept couples his fame in the music business with his strong interest in the fitness and nutrition industry.  Actually, I was a bit surprised that he built his own sites. LOL  They are really fantastic!

But, and this is a big “but” for we that struggle to build our own Internet home businesses; his name and notoriety are enough to drive a huge amount of traffic to his sites!  His SEO knowledge is significantly low.   Yet his page rank for Google is high. We don’t have that luxury!  He is a completely down to earth person who is willing to listen to smart ideas.  I provided some recommendations today, and he was open and welcomed them.  I hope and trust that you are the same!

The point here… the bottom line… the thing that can get you over the top and get you ahead of a successful  rock star is this; learn enough about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to give yourself a fighting chance.  If you willing to learn, I am willing to teach!  The major advantage I offer is that I know what it takes to get started at a very basic level!  Just ask, and I will share!

Build Your Internet Home Business with SEO! More Tips

It is simply amazing! Learning to build an Internet Home Business is a real challenge.  The landscape is slippery. You want to drive people or traffic to your website, but the rules keep changing!

How can you ever keep up with these changes?  You can start by communicating and interacting on this blog, or you can search the Internet on a daily basis to get some ideas on how to build a Internet home business!

There are several common denominators you should look for.  The most important is what the heck is Google doing?  There is a lot hype right now on Google Plus 1.  But, what are their search algorithms doing that can impact you business right now?  This all assumes you have branded yourself with a business website.  If you have not, do it!  This is your branded identity in this virtual world.  You have to have a website!

The next common denominator reflect changes with how Google ranks you website.  The magic term here is Search Engine Optimization (SEO).  The better optimized your website, the more traffic or visitors the search engine will send you.

Are you following me so far? Do you believe in this?  If not, go read some comics or perhaps play some of your favorite video games.  Because, if you do not believe in this, you are wasting your time!  And, mine!

Hey, I love all my readers!  I want to see you succeed in Internet marketing. But, you have to take this stuff seriously to succeed!   Here is an SEO  tip a learned the other day that can be a huge value in your attempt to build an Internet home business.

Google wants you to site authority sources. When you think about it, it just makes good common sense!  You can write whatever it is you want to write, but if you do not have good quality or authoritative sources to back you up, you are missing a huge opportunity to do things the right way.  Think about those high school and college papers you wrote.  You had to site your sources… right?  This is the same thing!

And, it’s not difficult to do in today’s Internet world.  In fact, it’s rather easy.  Here is an example.  Let’s say I want to write an article on Google Local Search.  And, I’m in the process of doing that on my website.  All I have to do is open another browser window, go to Google search and type in the keyword Google Local Search.  See what comes up, then use your own intellect to find a good authoritative article that relates well to what you are talking about in your article.

So, let me do that… I typed in “google local search” and starting scanning the articles that came up.  The third article looked interesting.  It reads: “Guide to Local Search.”  It has a page rand of 3, so I click on this article.  Three isn’t as high as I would like to go, but you might be better siting  a source that is closer to your own page ranking.

Actually, this article does not tell me anything I don’t already know, but I’m going to site it anyway to show you what I mean, and how to do this.

This is what I do. I introduce the subject I’m talking about.  Once again, that is Google Local Search.  Let’s call that my keyword.  I want to anchor my text on that keyword and point to the article I am siting.  Here is how I do it:

“Google has changed it’s search algorithm to favor local business.  Here is a great article article on Google Local Search in SmallBussinessSem.com.  Now, place your cursor over “Google Local Search” and look down in the bottom left corner of your page.  You will see the actual URL of this article.  That is how you build an authoritative source link into your article!

Practice this approach when you write about anything, and wait to see the amount of traffic you get in return.  Stay tuned for more Tips on how to drive traffic to your website!

Google Likes Simple Search Engine Optimization Strategies

Posted on June 3rd, 2011 by Rick

Google search engineHere are some great tips on how to build your Internet home business!  Nothing like getting it from the proverbial “horse’s mouth!”  Internet marketing is not  terribly hard to do if you keep it simple.  Here is a great video from Google engineer, and often spokesperson for this preeminent search engine company, Matt Cutts.

Matt was recently interviewed by USA Today.  He talks about how to get your home business site or small business website to the top of Google with 5 basic, common sense SEO… Search Engine Optimization tips.

This isn’t rocket science.  These are just great tips on how to build your internet home business simply by using some common sense techniques like thinking about what people will type into a Google search box to find a business.

Matt also stresses the need to have your Meta tags filled out… in particular, you site’s description tag.  The rule I always use is to complete the title tag with a keyword phrase.  Then, take that same keyword phrase and use it in you description tag.

Here is an example.  If your title is “how to build an internet home business,”  your description should include the keyword phrase “how to build an internet home business.”  Your title should be less than 70 characters and your description less than 160 characters.  So, write something like this in your description: “We provide tools and tips on how to build an internet home business. Visit our site to learn how to build an internet home business today!”

In this case, I was actually able to use my keyword phrase twice.  And, that is simply awesome!  Try it yourself!

Here is Matt’s interview!  Enjoy and Comment!
